STD/HIV Testing

        The Mississippi County Health Department provides screenings for Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia and HIV/AIDS. Treatment and education is also available.

         It takes seven (7) working days to get HIV test results, you will have to call and make an appointment to get your test results. No information regarding your HIV test status will be given out over the phone. Ease your mind, get your results and get control of your life.

Who Should Be Tested?

Any person who has engaged in the following high-risk behaviors such as:

  • Injected drugs, sharing needles and syringes
  • Unprotected sex (without a condom)
  • Vaginal sex
  • Anal sex
  • Oral sex
