Complaints

        The Mississippi County Health Department will investigate every complaint it receives. In order to investigate a complaint the following information must be provided:

  1. Your name
  2. Your address
  3. Your phone number
  4. The name of the person the complaint is against
  5. The complaintee's address with specific directions to find the site
  6. A written description of the nature of the complaint

        Please be assured that your complaint will be investigated, within 15 working days, if at all possible. When sufficient evidence is not available to determine that a law, rule or regulation has been violated, this complaint will be marked "insufficient evidence" with no further action being taken. Complaints can be made anonymously, but follow-up information will not be able to be provided.
